  1. Origin, nature, scope, definition and application of Law of Evidence
  2. Relevancy of facts- admission, confession, persons who are called as witnesses, customs and opinion of third person.
  3. Facts which need not be proved, oral and documentary evidence, public and private documents, presumption as to documents
  4. Presumption, burden of proof and estoppel
  5. Witnesses, communication, accomplice and examination of witnesses

                                                        Law of Crimes-I (BNS) paper-XXII

  1. Application and extension of IPC, 1860 and general explanation; abetment, common intention, common object and conspiracy
  2. General exception- mistake of fact, act of child, insanity, intoxication and private defence
  3. Offences against the human body- homicide, hurt, wrongful restraint and confinement, assault, kidnapping, abduction and rape
  4. Offences against property and documents- theft, extortion, robbery, dacoity, misappropriation of property, cheating, mischief and forgery
